We are very grateful for �㽶��Ƶ’s continued support of Chatty Café Australia (CCA), based in Victoria, a health promotion and community wellbeing charity. Chatty Cafe has had a very dynamic start to 2023 and it looks like the growth spurt which started in 2022 as COVID-19 impacts reduced, will sustain into 2023!  

So far in 2023 we have:

• Refreshed in February
• Implemented the State funded “” to introduce Chatty Café into the Glen Eira and Stonnington LGA’s in Metro Melbourne - this project is supported by Inner SE Metro Partnerships
• Seen significant impact in the Mornington Peninsula area as CCA implemented funded by the local Shire LGA
• Added a venue at in the Belmont Forum Shopping Centre, Perth
• Discussing ideas with people in the Sunshine Coast, Perth, Mildura, Cairns and Sydney about starting up or increasing Chatty Café venues in their areas
• Engaging with varied national organisations that provide retirement villages and aged care residences where Chatty Café events are wonderful opportunities for the public to come into such venues to meet and chat with the residents

We currently have 162 venues across Australia, in Victoria, Queensland and WA, the majority being community-focussed venues such as neighbourhood houses, community and learning centres, libraries, churches, op shops, as well as commercial venues such as wine bars, hotels, cafes, restaurants, and an art gallery!

Our Chatty customers come from all demographics, ages, preferences, cultures, and disabilities – at Chatty events “Everyone is Welcome”!!

We are working very hard to achieve our mission of preventing loneliness and social isolation "one chat at a time".
